The Fuckin' List
Does Bradshaw say "big bucket head" or "big fuckin' head" to Howie Long? My vote is for the latter, but I'm being outvoted. Thoughts?

This Reebok ad pretty much sums up my feelings about the Super Bowl. Yeah Dolphins, still the only undefeated team! But a couple of other notes:
- I honestly don't know that I've ever been amped up so much during a Super Bowl (even the one I was at, XXIII, one of the greatest of all time). I literally couldn't sit down during the last 3 minutes of the game. All so that Eli Fuckin' Manning could win a ring.
- Speaking of Eli, how did he win MVP? It had to be someone on the Giants defense. Initially I thought Unimyiora, but after looking at the box score, it should've been Justin Tuck (5 solo tackles, 2 sacks and a forced fumble). But of course the NFL can't award someone who's not a household name.
- If the end of the game didn't prove that Belichick is an arrogant, selfish asshole, nothing will. Dude, show some class and stay on the field until the end of the game. Now I REALLY hope you get suspended for the 2008 season, should the SpyGate scandal continue.
- Terrible ads, for the most part, except for the Coke ad with the Stewie and Underdog balloons. And did anyone else find the Chinese cows and the Carlos Mencia ads a tad racist?

Make It Bigot
12:14. Columbus Ave. I'm crossing 80th St. going south when I notice Michael Richards and a female companion walk past me headed north. As I reach the sidewalk I make eye contact with a woman whose dog is taking a leak. She must've seen me do a double-take, because she asks me "Is that the racist?" I confirm that it is.
"FUCKING ASSHOLE!!!" she calls out after him.

With Oscar ballots officially in the mail, I've decided to write up my list of my favorite movies of 2007. There are a few that I have yet to see (Charlie Wilson's War, Into the Wild, I'm Not There, Persepolis, The Assassination of Jesse James...), but I've done a pretty good job of seeing most of last year's highly acclaimed flicks, as well as many, many bad ones. Note that these are listed in alphabetical order, not in order of preference. Also it was an exceedingly difficult list to make; what a mediocre year for memorable films.
Anyway, without any further ado:
28 Weeks Later
Away From Her
Diving Bell and the Butterfly
No Country for Old Men
No End in Sight
