This Reebok ad pretty much sums up my feelings about the Super Bowl. Yeah Dolphins, still the only undefeated team! But a couple of other notes:
- I honestly don't know that I've ever been amped up so much during a Super Bowl (even the one I was at, XXIII, one of the greatest of all time). I literally couldn't sit down during the last 3 minutes of the game. All so that Eli Fuckin' Manning could win a ring.
- Speaking of Eli, how did he win MVP? It had to be someone on the Giants defense. Initially I thought Unimyiora, but after looking at the box score, it should've been Justin Tuck (5 solo tackles, 2 sacks and a forced fumble). But of course the NFL can't award someone who's not a household name.
- If the end of the game didn't prove that Belichick is an arrogant, selfish asshole, nothing will. Dude, show some class and stay on the field until the end of the game. Now I REALLY hope you get suspended for the 2008 season, should the SpyGate scandal continue.
- Terrible ads, for the most part, except for the Coke ad with the Stewie and Underdog balloons. And did anyone else find the Chinese cows and the Carlos Mencia ads a tad racist?
