What is the deal with all these huge bands playing tiny venues in NYC next month? GnR at Hammerstein, Red Hot Chili Peppers at Irving Plaza, Pearl Jam at Irving Plaza, Alice in Chains at Bowery (well, I guess AIC aren't technically huge anymore)... and I want tickets for all of them. Any kind readers want to help me out?

I can get you into the Stones at Arlene's Grocery if you want.
Yes, I work at MTV. But with the exception of RHCP (whose new video "Dani California" is getting a surprising amount of airplay), when's the last time MTV played a video from any of these artists?
"Anonymous" obviously thinks club owners and band managers are dying to get MTV employees into their venues.
Uh... no. Hasn't been that way since about 1988.
